We live 95% of our time running on our subconscious programs.

In fact, most of the thoughts we think today are the same thoughts we thought the day before!

So is it any wonder that it is difficult to change?  Our thoughts lead to our choices. Our choices lead to our behaviors. Our behaviors lead to our experiences. Our experiences create emotions. And our emotions influence the way we think.

We get stuck in this thinking-feeling loop. Just creating the same life and the same personality over and over again.

We say we want to change. We say we want to overcome a limiting belief. We say we want a bigger, more fulfilling life. However, creating change is so challenging because 5% of our conscious brain is fighting against 95% of our subconscious programs. We are trying to create a new personality from the old reality. And that never works.

So how do we change?

To truly create a new life, you have to create a new personality. You have to unlearn an old program and rewire your brain to a new one.

You actually have to become a new person. One who is successful, brave, in love- whatever outcome you are hoping for-you have to become that thing before the experience shows up in your life.

And the key to this is the present moment.

We have to become present. We have to find the present moment where past and predictable future to not exist.

In the present moment, you can get out of the program and mentally rehearse a new future version of yourself.

In the present moment, we can let fo of who we’ve been and who we think we should be.

In the present moment, we can access wonder and embrace uncertainty.

In the present moment, you step out of survival mode and into creation mode.

So make the time to access the present moment. Develop a meditation practice. Consciously get out of your programming and into the here and now.

Know that it is going to feel uncomfortable. The program that you have been running for so many years feels “safe”, feels familiar. It feels just “like you”.

This is Big Work.

Make the conscious decision that you will not spend one more day losing your free will to a program.

Be present not programmed.

And create a whole new you.
