A To Be list not a To Do list.

Its the time of year for setting intentions and writing our goals for the new year.
But while we are making our lists of all the things we want to accomplish in 2020, lets not forget the most important list of all- our TO BE list.
Instead of a TO DO list, make a TO BE list.
Who do you want to BE this year? What are the qualities of your future self that you want to adopt?
Maybe you want to be more compassionate, patient, calm, relaxed?
Or perhaps being more disciplined, focused and joyful is on your TO BE list?
Once you know the qualities of who you want TO BE you can go about the work of creating this new future version of yourself.
For example, if being a more patient person is on your list, ask yourself how a patient person would go about their days? How would they make decisions? How would they react in stressful situations?
Really get into the FEELINGS of how it would FEEL to be a patient person.
So yes, lets all set goals & intentions and write out our TO DO lists.
And most importantly, lets focus on our TO BE list.
